quiXzoom Contributor Guide: How Missions Work

Published August 17, 2026 · Contributor Resources

quiXzoom missions are simple: you receive an assignment on your phone, complete it by capturing what is asked, and get paid. The better your work, the more missions you unlock. This guide explains how the system works and how to maximise your earnings.

What is a mission?

A mission is a specific observation task, created by a customer who needs ground-level data about a physical asset or location. Missions vary in complexity:

Simple missions. Document a single asset — a street lamp, a sign, a manhole cover. Take photos from specified angles, confirm condition, submit. Typical payment: €8–15.

Route missions. Walk a defined route and document all assets of a specified type. Typical payment: €25–50 depending on route length and density.

Verification missions. Re-observe an asset that has been reported by another contributor or flagged by the system. Your observation helps confirm or resolve a finding. Typical payment: €10–20.

Complex missions. Document multiple asset types, capture specific details, or respond to a time-sensitive request. Typical payment: €40–80.

How you get paid

Payment is in quiXzoom Credits, converted to your local currency and transferred weekly via Stripe Connect. There are no fees deducted — you receive the full mission payment.

Approval first. Every submission is reviewed by the AI quality system before payment. Most approvals are automatic and take minutes. Some require human review and may take up to 24 hours.

Rejection reasons. Submissions are rejected for: poor image quality, wrong asset, incorrect location, incomplete angles, or failure to follow the mission brief. Rejected submissions are not paid, but you can see the reason and improve.

Bonus payments. High-reliability contributors receive bonus multipliers on certain mission types. Completing missions quickly and accurately increases your reliability score.

Building your reliability profile

Every contributor has a continuously updated reliability profile based on:

Agreement rate. How often your observations agree with other contributors and expert review.

Quality score. Image clarity, GPS accuracy, adherence to the mission specification.

Completion rate. The percentage of accepted missions you complete versus abandon.

Response time. How quickly you accept and complete missions after notification.

Higher reliability unlocks: priority access to new missions, higher-value assignments, complex missions, and regional coordinator eligibility.

Mission acceptance tips

Check the location before accepting. Make sure you can reach the mission location within the time window.

Read the brief carefully. Each mission specifies exactly what to capture. Missing a required angle means rejection.

Lighting matters. Avoid backlighting, capture in daylight when possible, and use HDR for high-contrast scenes.

Stability counts. Blurred images are rejected. Hold steady, use both hands, and pause before capturing.

GPS accuracy. Wait for your phone to lock a precise location before submitting. Submissions with poor GPS are rejected.

Getting started

Download the quiXzoom app, complete the onboarding tutorial, and accept your first mission. The tutorial walks you through capture technique, quality requirements, and submission process. Most new contributors complete their first paid mission within 24 hours of signing up.
